For the second year in a row Journeo plc has won Transaction of the Year at the Small Cap Awards.
Following recognition in 2023 for the acquisition of Infotec (IGL Limited), Journeo plc scooped the same award for the acquisition of MultiQ Denmark A/S, which completed in September 2023.
Journeo plc paid Eur2.5m out of existing cash resources to acquire MultiQ from Vertiseit AB. MultiQ is a leading provider of Intelligent Transport solutions with customers in Denmark, Sweden and Iceland.
The move expanded Journeo’s Nordic footprint, adding to the recurring revenue base and offering further cross sell opportunities.
The Small Cap Awards shine a light on the best companies and participants in the small and micro-cap community (sub £350m market capitalisation) across thirteen categories recognising outstanding achievement focused on smaller quoted companies.
On 13 June 2024, over 200 attendees, all supporters of the UK small cap community congregated at One Moorgate Place, in the city of London. Companies, investors and advisors were present at the ceremony hosted by Peter Dickson, the UK’s most prolific voice-over artist and Keynote Speaker Joanne Hart, Investments Editor at the Mail On Sunday.
