To access future funding for their bus networks, LTAs need to respond to this strategy with Bus Service Improvement Plans (BSIP) and Enhanced Partnership Schemes that increase bus priority and use technology to deliver a significant uplift in passenger experience and satisfaction.
The strategy is an ambitious plan that aims to use Enhanced Partnerships to dramatically increase passenger numbers, reduce congestion, carbon and pollution and get motorists out of their cars.
