Collectively, the Stockholm team has provided CCTV installation and maintenance support for Storstockholms Lokaltrafik and the hundreds of new buses entering the Keolis and Arriva fleet in the city and its surrounding area. Every new bus enters service with the very latest in CCTV surveillance equipment installed, while the team continues to service and maintain the systems in full working order, day and night.

Engineers Gon Jeeratrakul, Musa Sener and Eddy Laurent began working for 21st Century at the start of the Keolis E19 Stockholm contract in 2010, while Engin Arslan joined as Engineering Manager in 2015.

21st Century’s team of experts have a wealth of experience in CCTV, passenger information screens and ITxPT systems integration, which ensures critical systems remain operational.  Remote condition monitoring enables the team to dispatch an engineer quickly to resolve issues and minimise downtime.

Staying ahead of technology advancements has been an important element of the team’s success over the years.  The initial installations of analogue video and wifi transfer services have been upgraded to fully digital 4G solutions, in accordance with Storstockholms Lokaltrafik’s requirements.

Now, with the support of 21st Century’s UK team, Stockholm fleets can benefit from the latest generation Journeo technology solutions for video surveillance, passenger counting and more, all supported by cloud services.

Mark Johnson, Director of Fleet Systems, commented: “Our amazing team has worked hard over the last ten years to establish an excellent service in Stockholm, not only for Keolis and Arriva, but also for Storstockholms Lokaltrafik and the Stockholm Police who rely on us to provide CCTV evidence to support their investigations.

“Ultimately though it is the bus passengers who benefit from having the very latest in reliable CCTV technology to help improve their safety and security.”
